Regular (extended) group meetings and events: see GRIFT
Current Postdocs
Andrea (jointly funded by Sasha Shapiro) studies vertex algebras, geometric quantization, and topological quantum field theory.
Ioana has joined our group on a Marie Curie Fellowship. She studies 3d modularity and boundary vertex algebras in 3d gauge theories.
Current PhD students
Djordje works at the intersection of machine learning, low-dimensional topology, and biophysics. (Co-supervised with Davide Michieletto in Physics.)
Loïc studies non-perturbative aspects of supersymmetric field theories using the language of geometry, topology, and algebra -- in particular, mathematical structures of BPS states and local/extended operators. (Co-supervised with Lotte Hollands at Heriot-Watt University.)
Benni works in the area of formal TQFT, including on gauging higher symmetries via generalized orbifold techniques (in collaboration with Nils Carqueville).
